Special exhibition "Tierische GeFährten"

Special exhibition*

15/11/2022 – 21/5/2023

Schloss Rosenstein

Most animals are shy and difficult to observe - but they leave tracks. If you can "read" them, you can find out who is living right beside us, in the fields, in the forests or even right in front of our doorsteps. Tracks can reveal much more than the mere presence of an animal: Did someone stroll by in a relaxed manner or was it on the run? Were they nibbling on plants along the path or marking their territory?

Go in search of clues in our special exhibition "Tierische GeFährten" at Schloss Rosenstein. Perhaps you will find a completely different animal at the end of the trail than you expected? Either way, you'll have fun - and take away a whole lot of inspiration for your next trip into the great outdoors.

Incidentally, "Tierische GeFährten" is a first in the history of the Natural History Museum Stuttgart: the first exhibition to be initiated and designed entirely by the museum's five scientific trainees. The result: an entertaining search for clues for young and old and an invaluable experience for our young scientists.

Scientific concept and exhibition design: Lena Grabherr, Semjon Krassovitski, Rebecca Pflug, Stella Scheld, Robin Witt
