Research interests

I am a passionate herpetologist, driven by my love of lizards and a deep connection with island ecosystems. With years of experience in field research, I specialize in elucidating the evolutionary processes of these environments, exploring trophic food web dynamics and morphological adaptations. As a dedicated herpetologist, I delve into the behavioral ecology of reptiles and try to understand how they adapt to diverse environments. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. studies exploring the convergent evolution of the olfactory system of subterranean reptiles and amphibians. My approach involves innovative techniques such as specimen staining and CT imaging.
