Forschungsprofil

My research focuses on the functional morphology of extant and fossil insects. I am particularly interested in the evolutionary interplay between form, function, and behavior. While my current work examines the mating systems of mayflies, I have also conducted research on the feeding mechanisms of rove beetles.
