Research Interests

In addition to a general interest in the biodiversity and ecology of animals and ecosystems, my research interests focus primarily on the systematics, taxonomy and morphology of aquatic insects, as well as macroinvertebrate communities in river basins. 

My current projects focus on South American stoneflies, particularly the phylogenetic systematics and revision of the Griptopterygidae (Plecoptera: Antarctoperlaria).
