Forschungsprofil

Meine Forschungsinteressen beinhalten neben allgemeinem Interesse an Biodiversität und Ökologie von Tieren und Ökosystemen vor allem die Systematik, Taxonomie und Morphologie aquatischer Insekten sowie Lebensgemeinschaften von Makroinvertebraten in Flussbecken. 

Derzeitige Projekte beschäftigen sich mit Steinfliegen Südamerikas, vor allem mit der Phylogenetischen Systematik und Revision der Griptopterygidae (Plecoptera: Antarctoperlaria).
